How to Style White Sneakers

Good morning! It’s almost time to start pulling out the totes of Christmas decor! Who else is overly excited about it?! I know I am! Since I know that I’m going to be decorating like crazy these next few weeks (click here to check out my previous holiday home tours here and here), I try to stay comfy in sneakers so I can get ALL the things done before my kids are home from school.

Let’s talk about my ongoing craze with white sneakers (really any shoes, but sneakers are just SO comfy and cute)! White sneakers in particular are very trendy this season and I have recently been sharing on my IG @curlsandcashmere a few ideas on how to style white sneakers. They are perfect to wear with any outfit, dressy or more casual.  Sneakers aren’t just sneakers anymore…. they’re really a fashion statement. I recently purchased a brand new pair of cream New Balance 574’s with rose gold from Ebay. Need I say more?! Rose gold is SO gorgeous! I paired the shoes with a green utility jacket, this staple white tunic blouseand distressed denim.  And you know I added a great bag like this one to complete the look. It was the perfect casual, yet stylish look. Since the shoes were so comfortable, I wore them to the photo shoot and then for all of my Wednesday afternoon kid duties! Wednesdays are so HECTIC around here, so I was so relieved that at the end of the day my feet weren’t in pain! And I felt so cute too.

More Ideas on How to Style White Sneakers:

• With an oversized sweater or cardigan. Add a great layering tee underneath and a pair of faux leather leggings like these or denim along with the white sneakers and your outfit will scream pinterest perfection! This could make for a cute/cozy outfit or a casual every day look running around town.
• Athleisure wear is the best wear! Honestly, I wear it sooo much between going to barre class and then taking all of my kids to school and what not. There is nothing wrong with looking like you just left the gym (These shoes are so comfy that you have the option to!), but I love styling white shoes with elevated activewear pieces as well. Did you know Lululemon is one of the top selling items on eBay?! After a workout, throw on a cute jacket or cardigan to take the look from gym to out and about. You could also put on a cute leopard scarf for a pop of pattern. It helps take the workout wear into a more put-together look, which is always nice when I get to meet my husband out for a quick date night dinner and don’t have time to change.
• Wear with denim and a suede moto jacket (I’m dying to have this one). Add a simple tee underneath and an oversized pair of sunnies to complete the look.
