Serena & Lily Memorial Day Sale Must-Haves

Can you believe Memorial Day weekend is already here?! The kids are so excited that summer break is here (tomorrow is the last day of school for them)!  I made a note to self to start purchasing more groceries (aka the constant snacking they do all summer long). Before summer, I made an effort to get the kids playroom organized and toys purged again. I recently shared it all on the blog along with some new decor pieces for their playroom.

Another thing that my kids and myself are so excited to have is: down time. We can’t wait to spend time at the lake! We recently finished building a lakehouse out at Carlton Landing and it’s been so amazing seeing our vision come to life!  All of the decorating is almost done and a few of the crucial pieces I knew I wanted to include in our coastal decor are from Serena & Lily.

Today I want to go over a few of my must-have pieces. Some pieces are so great that I have them at my house and they were some of the first purchases I made for the lake house! Serena & Lily items have made our home a home; they exceed the expression that living well begins at home.

Essex Ottaman

We have a similar style tufted ottoman in our living room and not only does it provide extra seating but it acts as a great décor piece! I love placing trays on the ottoman then styling it with my favorite coffee table books, candles, etc. Styling this piece is a must for every season! The perfect center piece for your living room!

Rockport Square Ottoman

These are so good for anywhere. We have very similar cube ottomans in our living room at the lake that we use as a small coffee table or footrest when we need them. What I love about this cute little square ottoman is that it’s stain resistant….made from sunbrella! Kid proof is priceless to me! Can also be used outdoors.  The stain resistant also comes in handy outdoors as the sun doesn’t diminish the integrity of the piece.

Riviera Counter Stool

My VERY first purchase for the new lakehouse kitchen (see above for the stools in our lake kitchen)! These stools were such a big hit when I posted a picture of them! I had so many comments and dm’s asking about them! I have wanted these barstools forever and ever…so happy with them. They also are easily wipeable which is a must for kids. I chose navy stools since the majority of the room was a neutral white color; it added a the hint of blue I was after.

Sunwashed Riviera Counter Stool

I love the rattan look of these stools! They are a great blend of boho and classic style. I am HIGHLY considering these right now for my main house kitchen. These paired with all of my seagrass rugs against my grey island will be soooo fab!

Dip Dyed Stools

I know you hear stools and automatically think of it as a seating option but to me it’s functional! I have wanted these forever! Also, I love how cute they are.  I recommend putting these in the bathroom as a holder for towels or decor next to the tub.  They provide the perfect height that you might need when giving small kids a bath too.

Headlands Bell Pendant

Headlands pendant pictured above in our lake house living area. I knew I wanted this light fixture before anything else in our lake house living room! I decorated around this pendant.  The height of the pendant really makes the perfect statement and I love the coastal feel.

Goodman Brass Pendant

We have these brass pendants above our island (our kitchen is pictured above), and they are stunning! These never go on sale, so now is the time to buy!  I love the modern brass look! While simple in the design, these lights make a bold statement while also offering considerable light while I cook or prep on the island.

Greenwood Table Lamp

We have this lamp in bronze, and I really would love to have it in brass. This lamp has such perfect clean lines and a streamlined look that I love. It is also very tall and makes a chic statement on an entry table, console table, or nightstand.

Mosaic Mirror

Mirrors are perfect décor for any room! I always think a room needs at least one mirror. This circular mirror offers the perfect glamourous style that would brighten up the area. I love placing mirrors on our walls, or above the a bed for an easy option. This would also be really cute as a powder bath vanity mirror.

Big Sur Baskets

I am a HUGE basket lover! These navy baskets are soooo adorable! Who says organization can’t be a cute?! I love baskets since they help tidy up any space. I put toys in there, extra pillows and throws too.  Also, I have baskets in almost every room of the house. MUST-HAVE for a baby nursery too.

Del Mar Cotton Throw

Relaxation is key for a happy momma! This adorable throw is perfect to have draped over the back of the couch when not being used with charming tassels on the corners.  Nap time essential for sure!

Granada Pillow Cover

Ya’ll might know that I have a throw pillow obsession. I like to change my throw pillows up to change the feel of the room quickly and easily. Pillows are the easiest way to do that. Love this coastal pattern…I would add one to your sofa or side chair.

Sydney Beach Towel

These beach towels (pictured above at our lake house) are the must-have accessory for your outdoor area. They literally feel like a blanket, not a towel. If we had a pool, you better believe I would have these draped on chaise lounges overlooking a gorgeous pool.
