Good morning! I am so excited to share one of my most frequently asked about routines with you! Being a girl can be time consuming, but it’s so important to take care of your skin. I can’t wait to share my morning beauty routine….It consists of easy steps and products that are must-haves for me!

My Morning Beauty Routine
1. Start with a Clean Face
Right now, I am using Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser. This cleanser is so easy to use with a quick dispensing pump and a little goes a long way! I love this cleanser because my skin is very sensitive and red prone. This has no irritants in it whatsoever. My daughter’s dermatoligst recommended it to me and I have been super happy with this basic cleanser.
2. Vitamin C Serum will be your best friend
It’s never too early to start using a good Vitamin C serum! Preventative care will pay off in the long run! I highly recommend Skin Ceuticals C E Ferulic. This is 10 times stronger than sunblock alone and is considered the “holy Grail” of Vitamin C serums out there. I apply a few drops to my face, neck and chest. Also, I dab the left over on the back of my hands.
After applying, I let the serum sit 1 -2 minutes before putting any other products on. This serum helps with sun protection, discoloration, dry skin and fine lines. I have uneven skin spots and since using this serum I have noticed a better complexion for sure.
3. Protect, Protect, Protect!
Don’t skip using sunscreen – I can’t stress enough how important sun screen is! Thank the lord my older sis told me to stop using tanning beds in college (gasp) and start wearing sunblock back then. Even if it’s cloudy… you are still getting all of those damaging rays! I use Elta MD UV Elements Tinted Broad Spectrum SPF 44. This medical grade sunscreen offers sun coverage and a light tinted coverage. Another amazing product that does so much! UV coverage, makeup coverage, moisturizer and anti-aging! Again, I apply to my face, neck, chest and hands. I let this product sit a minute so my skin can soak it up.
4. My Absolute Fave CC Cream
After I apply sunscreen, I then add The IT CC Cream ! I wear shade light. This makes my skin GLOW! I highly recommend trying it. This CC cream offers lightweight coverage without feeling heavy/cakey on your skin. You get full coverage, anti aging serum and SPF 50 with this CC Cream! Another amazing product that does so much!
I use my Real Techniques Foundation brush to apply. I squirt a pump of CC Cream onto my wrist then apply it to my face; this helps every area be even and flawless!
5. Lightly Contour with this magic duo
Make-up has evolved so much over time! Learning how to lightly contour/shape my face was a game changer! I found a handy bronzer/highlight 2 in 1 that helps me define my face structure. The Filmstar Bronze & Glow Contour Duo does everything you need! I apply the bronzer in the countour of my cheek bones, under my chin, along my jawline and around my hairline on my forehead. I use the highlighter later… keep reading!
6. Correct those undereye bags
Let’s be honest…as a mom I never count on getting 8 hours of sleep. I had been hearing amazing things about The Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector cream for a while so I finally bought some! And I love it. I have the light to med shade. It is very luminous and completely lightens up my bluish bags underneath my eyes. I apply a small amount as a little goes a long way! I do this before my concealer.
7. Conceal everything else with my go-to concealer
For medium to full coverage, I love Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer. This is the best selling concealer in America and I can see why! It is a cult fave among everyone! I wear shade light. And I swear this concealer can hide anything! I dot some underneath my eye in an inverted triangle shape, on my chin and a little on my eye lids. Then I use a damp beauty blender and tap it all in. I use whatever setting powder I have on hand and brush a little on to set it.
**If I don’t need as much coverage and want to use a light to medium, then my go-to is the Charlotte Tillbury Magic Away Concealer. I wear shade Fair 4 in this. Love the sponge applicator and it blends so well. Both concealers are great option and you can build on both for desired coverage.
8. Defined Brows are the “It” look
Who else remembers plucking/waxing your eyebrows back in the day until they were almost non existent?! Guilty! LOL! Oh man, how times have changed. Brows are the “it” look that you want to pop. Since I have blonde hair my brows do not show as much (I have had my eyebrows microbladded 4 years ago and I do strongly recommend it if you don’t want to pencil in brows daily).
Since my micro blade has faded (I am planning on getting them redone), I use Charlotte Tillbury Brow Lift Eyebrow Pencil. This brow pencil is so easy to use with a pointed edge for precision and a wide side for filling and an attached brush to blend in the strokes. I have shade “supermodel” and it is awesome. If you aren’t sure how to fill in your brows without looking crazy, go on Youtube or Pinterest and search for videos. It is super easy once you get the hang of it and the difference of a light, sparse brow vs. one that is more full and defined is AMAZING!
9. Make your eyes stand out
My makeup regime is pretty simple as I am rushing out the doors most morning. I like the everyday “Bare faced look.” So I love my Anatasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette. This palette has pretty subtle colors for everyday wear and has darker dramatic colors as well for outings when I want a more bold look. All eyeshadow colors are very pigmented and show great after 1 application. I also love the 2 in 1 brush that comes with it.
10. Get those Lashes long & full
I don’t know about you guys but I feel naked without mascara on. I’ve used eyelash extensions before and I loved the look but it can get expensive with getting them filled, etc. And I developed a nasty allergy to them. So, I’ve tried multiple mascaras but lately I’ve been SO impressed with my new IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretching Volumizing mascara everyday! This mascara really makes my blonde lashes super long and gives them volume to make them appear fuller. A few strokes of this mascara will give you amazing coverage all day! No clumpy or flaking lashes. WIN!
11. Add the sparkle and shine
I’ve built my base and now I only have a few more things I do to make my look pop! On my cheeks I put the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush. I have shade foxglove. The pink shade gives a gorgeous rosy luminous look and literally 1 brush of it will be all you need.
After applying my blush, I use the highlighter from my Filmstar Bronze & Glow Contour Duo that I talked about earlier. I use a small amount on top of my cheekbones, around my eyebrows and end of my nose. You don’t want to be super shiny, so go conservative. I use my Real Techniques Setting Finishing Powder brush to lightly apply highlighter.
12. The final pop of color
Lastly I put on my super affordable NYX Butter Gloss in shade vanilla creme pie or eclair. This gloss gives you noticeable glossy lips without a sticky feeling. Did I mention it’s under $5?! Save yourself some money and you will love this gloss! Comes in so many colors.
For another gloss favorite that y’all ask me about often is this one… I love Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre in pillow talk is the perfect shine while softening/conditioning your lips.
Thank you for getting ready with me this morning and I hope you found my easy morning beauty routine helpful! I can’t stress how important preventative care is! Steps 1 – 3 will be your best friend in the years to come! All the makeup I shared seriously will go a long way as you only need the bare minimum for it to give you the coverage you want.
If you have any questions please let me know! I have also shared a few highlight reels on my Instagram to show you how I get ready. As always thank you for reading and have a great day!
