It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and I couldn’t be more excited!! I love decorating for the holidays and I am so happy with how my living room turned out. I went for a neutral color palette again this holiday season, I just couldn’t resist! There is something so chic and sophisticated about creams, white, gold and lots of fabulous Christmas greenery. It feels like a real life winter wonderland in here and I can’t wait to share my white Christmas decor ideas with you!

The first thing you see when you walk into my living room is my 10ft Flocked Christmas Tree.
We have had our tree for a couple years now and it still looks GORGEOUS! Highly recommend this brand and set up is a breeze. Now it can get very messy, so you will want to check out my blog post on my top tips when decorating a flocked tree.
This year I decorated my tree with all neutral ornaments….think lots of white snowflakes, white ornaments, glass objects, gold and silver balls and more. You can read more about how I decorate my trees here. Even though there are lots of neutrals, there is still lots of texture in the tree with my gold floral picks I added all around it plus white berry stems as well. I also have thin curly silver stems that I placed randomly through out the tree.
I used a simple cream ribbon with fringe I found at Hobby Lobby. It kind of blends, but is still a nice feature in person.
I topped the tree with some holiday florals for a sophisticated look and it helps to add some height also since my ceilings are very tall.
Then I filled in under the tree with lots of adorable white and gold gift boxes and then layered in my large silver bells and a white holiday pillow. Also, I added a vintage pair of skis against the wall for a fun touch.
I think it is a really nice touch not to have under the tree empty for a more styled look. If you are like me and wait until the last minute to wrap (lol!), that is another reason to have pretty gift boxes and such out to use for decorative purposes. You can also use items like sheepskin rugs, baskets, birch logs, holiday pillows and more to decorate around the tree if you have the space. My kids call these boxes the “fake presents!” Lol!

The next vignette your eyes are drawn to is the fireplace.
On the mantle, I draped flocked garland (similar linked ) filled with pinecones, white Christmas balls and a few red berries. This is the same garland that I have used the past couple of years in this post. It originally had red ornaments in it, but I cut them out to fit with my neutral white Christmas decor theme. I can easily wire them back in if I decide to do a more festive Christmas color palette another year.
On both ends of the mantle I placed tall decorative trees I have had for years. They help to add some height to each end. Our faux fur Christmas stockings are sold out, but I have similar linked here. I have lots of different decorative stockings I hang every year depending on my mood, but our real ones only come out on Christmas Eve for the big guy in the red suit.
For the hearth, I placed my newest flocked Christmas Trees from Target on one side.
They are 3ft and 2ft tall and come in the cutest rattan baskets. On the other side of the hearth, I have a gold lantern filled with white ornaments, a wooden horse and a mercury glass tree. Our birch logs are gas and I love the look of them. But, FYI…they do get very black from the fire flames.
And let me tell you about my 65″ Frame TV!
It is my FAVE purchase of the year! It allows you to upload art to it and adjust the colors, matting and more so you don’t have a black box glaring at you all the time. You can choose between Art mode or TV mode. It also has an energy savings motion sensor so it will bring the art up anytime I walk into the room, as long as the kids aren’t using it in TV mode. FYI…we chose the beige frame to go with the TV.
The best part about the TV is changing the artwork for the season or holiday! I was also able to buy the prettiest winter digital download to match my decor for just a few bucks. It really helps to pull together my white Christmas decor. You can look all over Etsy for fun digital downloads for the TV.
I flanked both sides of the fireplace with a flocked wreath (similar linked here). I was able to hang them on my window trim with command hooks for an unexpected touch.
Our white linen drapes were custom but my readers love this affordable option! I have had lots of great messages from you guys about the quality of these black out white linen drapes I suggest often that come in lots of different heights.
Check out these new wooden trees that I added this year to my side table on a cute stack of coffee table books. Simple and pretty.
As you move around the living room, I also hung a wreath and ribbon over my picture wall gallery (similar frame here).
I flanked each end of the console with 3.5 ft flocked trees. (similar linked). Then I added my collection of varying Christmas trees underneath on the sofa table…I love the mix of heights and textures. I have collected so many fun mercury glass trees, mixed metal trees, rattan trees and more over the years!
Do you like our new velvet banded pillows on the sofas? I love the velvet with the cable knit pillows together and will definitely keep these out all winter long . Our sofas are old, we had them custom made almost 15 years ago! Same goes for our ottoman, but I have a similar tufted option here.
As you continue around my living room, this next vignette is my ABSOLUTE favorite! I always have to move around my furniture to make room for the Christmas tree, so I moved this settee and my new wall decor woven basket set over directly across from the tree.
And then I had some fun just being creative!
My neutral settee is draped in my new fair isle throw blanket. I also placed lots of cozy neutral pillows in various sizes and textures. Above my settee, I put my new rattan basket trio. The size and color of these are so good. They have a whitewashed look and are very lightweight. I was able hang them with a simple push pin.
Cableknit ottoman linked here.
On my round wooden table I made the cutest little village with my new ceramic white houses (can you believe they were only $5) and my new bottle brush trees set. I then added in a few more of my old Christmas trees and a chunky wooden bead garland.
A grouping of three more slim flocked trees flank the settee to complete this white Christmas vignette. I like to add some baskets with cozy winter throws and holiday pillows around the room to add a little extra in the bare spots . It makes the room feel so cozy at night when we have Christmas movies on with our hot cocoa and Christmas jammies.
