I’m so happy it’s finally spring! I love all of the fresh flowers, bright colors and the warmer weather. When spring finally rolls around, I usually update my closet a little bit to include more flowy, lightweight fabrics. I also lean toward more comfortable and casual pieces for the warmer spring days that can be dressed up or dressed down.
I don’t know if you are like me, but I tend to get out of the house a lot more as the weather warms up. We really love to enjoy our outdoor living area and pool in the spring before it gets too hot in Oklahoma. I also love the nice weather for dinner out on a patio, hanging around the pool with our kids, or dinner with friends. I always need a few casual spring outfit options to throw on to quickly go from lounging at home to running errands to evening plans!
In the spring, it seems like there are lots of baby showers and weddings too. I like to have a few flowy dresses in my spring wardrobe for those occasions. They’re perfect to style casually for daytime activities and then easily style dressy for evenings out.
To help you get your closet ready for spring, I’m sharing a roundup of casual spring outfit ideas from Wal-Mart that can take you from day to night and even on vacation as well. Wal-Mart has several women’s fashion brands I have been loving including Scoop, Free Assembly and Time & Tru. Y’all loved this adorable Scoop dress I recently brought with me to Scottsdale.

Scoop Women’s Tunic Dress with Long Sleeves
This bright long sleeve tunic dress is so cute for spring. I love the bright spring colors of this dress and the mixed floral prints! I do think it is a little short FYI. It would be adorable as a swimsuit coverup also. I have on size small and I am 5ft 7″. I always love to have at least one dress with long sleeves in my spring wardrobe. That way, I can dress up even when it’s a little chillier outside. You can easily style this dress with sandals, wedges, or flip flops for a more casual outfit option. It would be great for wearing to the beach, lake or pool as an adorable swim coverup!
Scoop Women’s Babydoll Dress with Puff Sleeves
Puff sleeve baby doll dresses are very on-trend for spring! This black babydoll dress is perfect to mix and match with sneakers or sandals. It’s also perfect for warmer days. It can easily be dressed up or down depending on your activities for the day. I would wear this dress with a denim jacket and some of my favorite sunnies and a bracelet stack! I also love these flatform sandals to wear with dresses like this one or the white studded pair pictured above that are just $12! These sandals will go with all the cute summer outfits also.
Scoop Women’s Strapless Maxi Dress 
I love a good maxi dress in the spring because it’s one piece I can throw on and wear pretty much anywhere! I actually bought this in 2 colors I liked it so well. First up, I am sharing the black and white color way. I have on xs. When I walked out of the closet in this dress, my husband loved it which is always a win! My favorite casual spring outfits are usually some form of dresses with sandals or sneakers and a good denim jacket.
The Scoop Women’s Strapless Maxi Dress comes in this beautiful pastel blue color that I think is so flattering on everyone. I love to style strapless maxi dresses with a stylish cardigan or moto jacket in the spring and then I can wear them all summer without! This strapless maxi dress is so versatile. Free Assembly is a newer Walmart line and they have so many cute pieces for spring and summer! I love this tiered mini dress with puff sleeves. I’m a sucker for white dresses in the spring and summer and this one is perfect! Tiered dresses with puff sleeves are perfect for putting together a cute spring outfit. Style with a pair of slides for a more casual day, or dress it up with studded sandals or wedges for a date night out. Wearing xs in this dress.
