Fall is here and I’m so excited to finally get out the fall decor! Fall is my favorite time of year for home decor. I love all of the warm fall colors and cozy textures. Of course I also like to use a lot of small (usually faux) pumpkins around the house too. I love decorating all of the main living spaces in my home, but the bar cart is probably one of my favorite areas to style!
Bar carts can be so fun to change up for holidays, seasons, and celebrations. I’ve been really excited to switch up the styling on my bar cart, so I was ready to get some new fall decor pieces from Walmart for this project. The best part is, my bar cart fall decor can be used all the way through the Thanksgiving holiday, which is super handy and convenient. Today I’m sharing how to style a bar cart for fall using gorgeous and affordable decor from Walmart’s Wow and Now section.

How to Style a Bar Cart for Fall
Choose a Few Basic Pieces To Start
I always like to start my decor process by deciding on a few anchor pieces for the space. For my bar cart, I knew I wanted to use this gorgeous and affordable black lantern, this textured throw pillow, and some fall greenery as anchors. Once I’ve got my anchor pieces in place, I play around with styling and adding in other fall decor pieces on the bar cart. I always incorporate several pumpkins when I’m styling a space for fall. This set of neutral pumpkins from Walmart can be used for simple and beautiful filler.
Decide on a Fall Color Scheme for your Bar Cart
Next, decide on a color scheme for your fall bar cart. My home is mostly neutral and I love to keep my seasonal decor cohesive. Neutrals are still great for fall, but I love to incorporate warm colors and textures too. If you’re sticking to neutrals, I suggest bringing in some cozy textures like this cream tufted pillow. I incorporate just a little bit of fall color, like shades of orange and warmer autumn tones.
For my fall bar cart this year I did mainly neutrals, some muted greens, and added a pop of oranges with this fall garland.
Fall Florals for Bar Cart Styling
Changing out florals with the changing seasons is a must! For my fall bar cart, I got this under $12 clear vase from Walmart and put in a few snips of Pampas Grass. I love to use pampas grass in the fall – it’s very on trend and adds a lot of pretty texture. And as a bonus, you can use this vase year-round and simply change out your stems. This little harvest arrangement has such pretty fall colors and textures, and is the perfect size for styling a small space like a bar cart. I also thought this pumpkin faux floral arrangement was so beautiful – and it’s a steal at only nine dollars. The sunflowers and autumn leaves are the perfect pop of fall color!
Add a Set of Copper Mugs
No fall bar cart is complete without these copper mugs from Walmart. Copper is such a great metal to incorporate in your fall decor. It brings so much warmth and coziness to a space. Sipping drinks by the fire is so much better when you’re using festive drink ware. These 20-oz mugs are perfect for sipping Moscow mules, or you could use them for another yummy fall beverage while gathering with friends and family.
Pumpkins for Fall Bar Cart Styling
Of course, I can’t decorate for fall without using pumpkins. I have a lot of small pumpkins at home that I like to rotate in and out of spaces I’m styling. But I found these really gorgeous neutral and muted green mini-pumpkins at Walmart and couldn’t resist! This stack of three pumpkins has just a touch of color and some faux florals, and also would be so pretty on a fall bar cart. I used this stack of 3 pumpkins in muted green and white on mine! This set of three orange and white pumpkins was perfect to tie in the colors of the fall leaves garland.
