The school year is officially underway and I must say, it feels so good to be back into a daily routine with the kids! As one of the busiest times of the year, I always welcome the change of pace and the opportunity for Vivian and Hudson to make new friends and learn new things.Walmart has always been our go-to for back-to-school supplies, but this year, we really wanted to make sure they were both set up for success for the school year ahead.
This is exactly why we turned to Walmart (yet again!) for all of their back-to-school clothes. Not only were we able to swap out pieces they love for ones that fit them better but the new clothing they picked out at Walmart also gave them confidence for the new school year! I’ve found that when the kids feel good about what they’re wearing, they’re more confident and more successful in school. It’s a win-win for everyone!

Dressing for Success with Walmart
Walmart has so many must-have styles and top brands that kids will love at a price that will make you just as happy. Being able to provide both my kids with outfits that they loved and are excited to wear makes going back to school, and getting ready for school in the mornings, that much easier.
Girls Back to School Outfits
There’s nothing better than having a daughter and going back to school shopping with her! Vivian has the best personality and I love how much she loves fashion and how a great outfit makes her feel confident and unstoppable. Two MAJOR traits I love, especially when it comes to the classroom!
This year, Vivian picked out some pieces that were feminine but also touched in on some edgier styles with this hoodie and these matching joggers. She already told me that she would be wearing this jumpsuit (I’m obsessed!) for school pictures this year and wants to pair it with these cute pink lug sole boots. Future fashion blogger? I think so!
For gym days or days that are chilly and she wants to be extra cozy, she’ll be reaching for this graphic sweatshirt that instills confidence and these leggings. I also think this top and these bottoms will get a lot of wear since they can be worn together or separately.
And of course, since it’s a new school year, we also had to get Vivian a new backpack! She picked out this one and I love the contrast in colors and design!
Boys Back to School Outfits
Boys are always so particular about what they wear and I swear all boys clothing looks the same but thankfully, Walmart has come to the rescue! Hudson is loving the comfort of these camo joggers paired with these cotton tees. They’re comfy and breathable, perfect for playing, but also give him the confidence he needs to succeed in the classroom. Two pieces I know he’s going to get a lot of wear out of this year (both inside the classroom and at home!) are these leather high-top sneakers and this crewneck. Both can be styled casually or on the dressier side for church or etc.
For days he wants to keep it super casual (which is often), he loves wearing these shorts and these sneakers paired with these long sleeve athletic tops these long sleeve athletic tops. But once the weather starts getting too cold for shorts, he’ll start wearing these joggers.
Since Walmart is a one-stop shop for all things back-to-school, Hudson also picked out this backpack and these markers. Both spark his creativity and his hobbies outside of school!
