Can you believe the holiday season is just around the corner? I feel like this year has flown by and if this season is anything like the rest of the year, it’ll be over in the blink of an eye. Since it is one of my favorite times of the year though, I’m trying to soak in as much of the holiday season as possible, starting with holiday prep. Yes, it’s only October but if I don’t get started now, I’ll be running around like a chicken with its head cut off next month!
Every year, I wait too long to shop for outfits for holiday parties, and then I can’t find anything I love in my size! Do you do the same thing? This year I refused to let this happen so I popped over to Walmart.com (their seasonal clothing selection is SO good!) to see what new arrivals they had to offer for holiday.

3 Dresses for the Holiday Season
Walmart has been my one-stop shop for all things back-to-school and holiday this year. They make everything so easy! Whether you’re looking for an outfit for Thanksgiving or a work event, they have you covered! And if you don’t have a Walmart close to you, their website is so easy to shop and the shipping is fast.
Metallic Long Sleeve Mini Dress
This metallic knit mini dress from The Get is the perfect dress for the holiday season! Even though it’s a mini dress, it’s not too short and the higher neckline and long sleeves make it easy to style for work events with boots or a flat. Wearing size small.
I’m possibly planning on wearing the dress for our annual family Christmas party with tan pumps! I also think the dress would pair beautifully with these Scoop embellished slingback pumps. They look designer for a fraction of the cost!
Pleated Midi Dress
I have a feeling that this pleated midi dress is going to be worn on repeat this holiday season! I’m already planning on wearing it for Thanksgiving with these tan pumps. Simple, and sophisticated, with lots of breathing room for eating a little too much! I also love the tie-neck detailing and tie around the waist. It gives the dress such a fun shape and even more movement.
The green color is beautiful, but if you’re looking for a more neutral color, this dress also comes in black which is absolutely stunning! Definitely going back to get it as an option to wear year-round!
Sequin Wrap Mini Dress
I can never say no to a good sequin dress, especially for New Year’s Eve! This one from The Get is so chic and the faux wrap is so flattering and the material has some stretch so it’s as comfortable as it is cute. I’m planning on pairing it with these Scoop slingback pumps but it would also look really cute with an over-the-knee boot and a faux fur jacket for those of you that live in colder climates!
