With every change of season comes new fashion trends and while I night be sad to put away my shorts and summery dresses for the season, fall fashion trends are truly elite. Every year, I look forward to seeing all of the new colors, textures, and silhouettes that will dominate the season ahead. This year, the fall trends are better than ever and I’ve already started stocking up on my favorite trends of the season thanks to Walmart.

The Fashion Trends on My Radar This Fall
This season, we’re seeing a lot of elevated basics, masculine details paired with feminine pieces, refined tailoring, and a lot of rich colors. If you want to add a few of this season’s hottest trends to your wardrobe without going too crazy, these are the fashion trends I’m loving this fall that you can purchase on a budget!
Feminine Dresses and Chunky Boots
This trend was a combo we started seeing last year but people are definitely leaning into it more this year, including me. This long sleeve shirt dress is the perfect dress to pair with these lug sole boots. The shorter length and feminine details compliment the chunky, masculine details of the lug sole boots perfectly. Paired with a simple bag and I can be out the door quickly while still looking put together!
Faux Leather Cargo Pants
The leather pant and cargo pant trends have been around for a little bit now and aren’t going anywhere soon. While I’ve tried and loved both trends, I’m loving the leather cargo pant trend even more. It feels a little bit more elevated and fun compared to traditional cargo pant fabrics and this pair I ordered on Walmart are so good! I love that I can wear them now with sandals but once the weather starts to get colder, I can pair them with these lug sole boots or even these sneakers. If you haven’t tried leather cargo pants out yet, I highly recommend pairing them with a bodysuit like this one. It helps balance out the wider fabric of the pants and makes the outfit look that much more elevated.
Split Hem Jeans
No matter where you shop, split hem jeans are everywhere and I am here for it. When I saw this pair on Walmart, I absolutely knew I needed to have them. As someone that loves to wear jeans, especially in the fall, I love that this pair is in my comfort zone while still touching on one of the best fall trends. Plus, they’re under $25 and with Walmart’s free 2-day shipping, you’ll be wearing them in no time!
To give these jeans a more refined tailor look, I couldn’t help but pair them with this turtleneck sweater. The pearl button detailing on the cuffs is so simple but fun and really elevates the jeans!
Faux Leather Shacket
Shackets are one of my most worn pieces of outerwear in my closet and when I came across this one on Walmart, it was an immediate purchase. It’s such a fun and wearable shirt-jacket hybrid and an easy way to add a more masculine piece to your wardrobe without breaking the bank. I typically style my shackets on the more casual side, but this one deserved its moment. Paired with a simple white t-shirt, my favorite jeans (the silhouette and length is perfect!!) and an elevated shoe, it’s the perfect piece for date night, drinks with the girls, or a meeting and is on Walmart for under $30.
